4. Exhibit G, Breakfast Pizza Specifications have been broadened to include a wider range of toppings. The revised specifications are as follows: Breakfast Pizza - 12” x 16” rectangular, whole pizza, Whole Grain Rich crust, and frozen. CN label preferred. Breakfast toppings and cheese shall be included. One serving to provide a minimum of 1 oz-eq Grain, 1 oz-eq meat/meat alternate.
5. Exhibit H: Price Worksheet
a. During the question and answer period we received additional information from one of our largest districts that necessitates significant changes in Exhibit H Price Worksheet. To give full transparency to vendors we have changed the estimated case usage on several items into ranges rather than set amounts. One product was significantly reduced while two others were significantly increased. Please carefully review these changes before replying to this RFP. For items that give a range of annual usage estimates, we will accept tiered pricing in response to this RFP. Vendors will be notified prior to the 2020-2021 school year of the final case estimate. If you have already submitted your response and wish to make a change, you are welcome to resubmit a new proposal or withdraw your original proposal.

Districts in NEWESD 101 now have the opportunity to join a new Child Nutrition Cooperative. Those included in the cooperative will work with Registered Dietitian Abby Miller to improve their school nutrition programs. This cooperative also partners with the Empire Health Foundation to bring whole foods and scratch cooking to schools. Abby will customize her services based on the needs of each district. Her main services have included:
 Recipes - Update, standardize and credit current recipes. Introduce new recipes with emphasis on whole foods and scratch cooking.
 Menu - Assistance in meeting meal pattern requirements and developing cycle menus.
 Production Records - Create pre-filled production record templates for the cycle menu.
 Special Diets - Work with parents, administrators, nurses and food service staff to create a safe operating procedure for special dietary needs.
 Training - Provide training to meet annual professional standards requirements.
 Grants - Assistance locating and writing grant applications.
 Administrative Review - Help preparing documentation for the Administrative Review.
