Schedule your test
The test consists of 90 questions for ParaPro, 87 questions for ParaPathways (offered after January 1, 2027). Both tests take approximately 2 ½ hours to complete. Approximately 2/3 of the test focus on basic skills and knowledge. The remaining 1/3 focus on applying skills in the classroom. All test questions are in English. Individuals must score 455 or higher to pass the assessment for Washington.
