On April 18, NEWESD 101 Superintendent Robert Roettger and staff from Juvenile Detention School Services and the Center Teaching & Learning had the pleasure of attending the annual Hagan Foundation reception held at Spokane Community College. The event was highlighted by the delightful culinary creations prepared by the talented students of the Inland Northwest Culinary Academy.
This year alone, the Hagan Foundation has awarded a total of $70,361 to NEWESD 101, providing invaluable resources for our Science Kit Cooperative to enhance STEM education in rural districts, GED testing vouchers and curriculum software for Juvenile Detention School Services, and a Dream Camp to offer innovative resources and collaborative learning spaces for educators across the region.
NEWESD 101 is deeply grateful for this partnership that is not only enriching educational experiences, but also nurturing the dreams and capabilities of educators and students across northeast Washington.
