Rising to Distinction: Several Northeast Washington Districts Honored with State Superintendent Award

Several northeast Washington school districts are among those being recognized by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction through the new State Superintendent’s Award for Educational Excellence.
In the NEWESD 101 region, Freeman, Liberty, and Oakesdale were honored for Academic Achievement. Columbia, Inchelium, Lind, Nine Mile Falls, Ritzville, and Riverside were recognized for Academic Progress.
This recognition reflects the hard work of students, educators, staff, school boards, families, and communities across our region. We are proud to celebrate these districts and the steady commitment they show in helping students grow, achieve, and thrive.
Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees across northeast Washington.
