Empowering Women in Leadership!

Empowering Women in Leadership!

On March 14, 2025, the Women in Leadership Networking Event took place at The Boxcar Room, bringing together northeast Washington education administrators and professionals eager to connect, inspire and be inspired. The event was designed to empower women in educational leadership roles, offering an opportunity to share experiences, build networks and hear from an incredible keynote speaker.

Attendees were treated to an inspiring speech by Sandy Zimmerman, the first mom to hit the buzzer on American Ninja Warrior. Sandy's story of perseverance, determination, and defying expectations resonated with everyone in the room. Her message reminded us all that leadership comes in many forms, and every woman is capable of achieving greatness in her own way.

In addition to the keynote, the evening was filled with engaging conversations and the chance to network with other professionals who share a passion for education, growth and leadership. The event created an atmosphere of support and encouragement, where everyone was able to connect with others who are on similar journeys of personal and professional development.

A special thank you goes to our generous sponsors: STCU, NAC Architecture, and Northeast Washington Association of School Administrators. Their support helped make this second annual event a resounding success.
