Finding Your Why: More than 70 educational leaders attended last week's Northeast Washington Association of School Administrators (NEWASA) meeting featuring our 2023 Regional Teacher of the Year, Gina Behrens, a literary interventionist at Seth Woodard Elementary in the West Valley School District. Behrens delivered an inspirational message on the importance of "knowing your why."
"When you know your why, your what becomes more impactful," says Behrens.
Other NEWASA special guests included WSU professor Dr. Rich McBride (College of Education) and Dr. Scott Seaman, executive director of the Association of Washington School Principals.
