Below are steps to completing the ECEAP application and verification process to determine eligibility, priority, and program options, as well as consideration for best placement of your child. Please be sure you reside in one of our service areas. Families with children ages 3 or 4 by August 31, 2022 and qualify with income, State Median Income (SMI), eligibility at or below 36% SMI (i.e. a family of 4 making less than $41,404 per year), a child who is a tribal member's family is eligible up to 100% SMI.
Complete the ECEAP application and attach verification documents, which can be uploaded with the paperclip icons on the last page of the application. The verifications include:
- Verification of child's age (child must be at least 3 years old and not yet 5 years old by August 31, 2022)
- Verification that you are the child's legal guardian
- Verification of your family size
- Verification of family income or foster care/kinship care/adoption support
- Verification of child's immunization or exemption status
Completing the application/verification process does not guarantee enrollment. Your child will be entered into the Early Learning Management System (ELMS) and placed on the waiting list until the application is complete and verified. Enrollment priority/program option will be determined when a spot is available as well as consideration of best placement for your child. Application, supporting documents, and information you provide will be kept secure and confidential.
If you were enrolled or applied to ECEAP with a different contractor and now reside in one of our service areas and wish to transfer, please complete the "Request to Transfer" form and email it to [email protected]
