Welcome to Carrie Morrison, the new College Bound Regional Officer with the Washington College Access Network, housed under the umbrella of College Success Foundation.

Carrie will be serving the NEWESD 101 region, working closely with school-based counselors to increase the sign-up and application completion rates for students qualifying for the College Bound Scholarship. The College Bound Scholarship aims at closing the achievement gap for students in poverty and promoting post-secondary education for all students.

In these uncertain times, the College Success Foundation, in partnership with the Washington Student Achievement Council, recognizes the importance of affording students additional time to apply for financial aid opportunities as they and their families grapple with, and adjust to, the economic strain COVID-19 has placed on households.

As such, the deadline application for the College Bound Scholarship has been extended to November 30, 2020 for recently graduated 8th grade students heading into 9th grade in the fall. Click here for details.
