Congratulations to Jessica Dempsey, NEWESD 101's Career Connected Learning/Career & Technical Education Director, who was recently recognized by the U.S. Army State Battalion Commander for her outstanding leadership and partnership.

Jessica has worked tirelessly to create meaningful career pathways and hands-on learning experiences for students across our region. Her efforts include partnering with the WA Army to launch the Armed Forces Career Crossover and Trades Day in April 2025, expanding career training and exploration opportunities both locally and statewide, and supporting SkillsUSA Washington regional and state competitions.
