ESD 101 Telecommunications Division
The ESD 101 Telecommunications Division offers services to the
educational community in four primary areas:
DVD/video production services
ESD 101 operates a full-service video production center specializing in
the creation of video products for schools and other educational
organizations. ESD 101 holds nearly a quarter-century of professional
experience that includes live television production and the creation of
special purpose videos that can be streamed on the Internet or
distributed on DVD.
ESD 101 operates its own production studios and employs an experienced
production team trained in all facets of professional video production
including concept design, script writing, location shooting, studio
production, music, graphics and digital editing. DVDs are an ideal way
for educational organizations to promote their mission, services,
membership, identity, image and future.

Educational DVDs for K-12 students
DVDs are available to assist students with foreign language instruction,
GED preparation, everyday math, and more. Some sites use DVDs to
supplement classroom instruction, while others use them as stand-alone
instructional modules.
DVDs are used in public and private school classrooms and also home
school settings. All DVDs contain original content produced by ESD 101
with funding from the U.S. Department of Education’s Star Schools grant
program.

Educational DVDs for students in correctional
institutions
DVDs are available to assist correctional institutional institutions in
meeting the special needs of their populations. Programs are geared to
both juvenile and adult populations, with content focused on GED
preparation, re-entry, job preparation and lifeskills.
All DVDs contain original content produced by ESD 101 with funding from
the U.S. Department of Education’s Star Schools grant program. Available
courses include Anger Management, Stress Management, and Transition:
Employment.
