    Award Congratulations to the region’s 27 winners of the 2014 Washington Achievement Award – an honor recognizing the state’s top-performing schools. The winning schools will be honored in a regional ceremony Tuesday, April 28, 9:30 a.m., in the NEWESD 101 conference center. See winners

      An Evening with Anthony Cody
    Cody Anthony Cody, author of The Educator And The Oligarch: A Teacher Challenges The Gates Foundation, will be in Spokane May 14.

    Cody, a veteran science teacher from Oakland, CA, offers views that differ from many current policy makers, foundations and governmental entities. He is a national Board Certified Teacher and an outspoken critic of high-stakes testing.

    School and district leadership teams are encouraged to attend this free evening workshop, hosted by NEWESD 101 and D.A. Davidson. Pre-registration is required. More
