College Sparkawards grant to NEWESD 101
Greater numbers of students from the Curlew, Northport and Republic school districts will successfully transition to college, thanks to a $150,000 grant awarded to NEWESD 101 by College Spark Washington.
The FastTrack to College grant, implemented over two years, will provide specialized college prep instruction for 261 high school students. Services will include math placement exams for juniors and seniors. More
The Rosalia School Board seeks a half-time (.5 FTE) superintendent to succeed Dr. Bill Thurston, who is retiring.Rosalia is located about 30 miles south of Spokane. The district enrolls 198 students on one campus, with separate wings for elementary, middle and high school. Rosalia is a National Blue Ribbon School Award winner at all three levels. Application
