    Fourth of July edition

    An ongoing countdown of things you may not know about NEWESD 101, the region’s schools, people, history and geography.

    Fact: Two future American presidents, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, were among the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence. Both died on July 4, 1826 – the 50th anniversary of the document’s formal adoption.
