Early Childhood Services
ESD 101's Center for Early Childhood
Services provides both direct service and
consultation to districts in the areas of
pre-school and early childhood education.
Major activities include the operation of
child care centers in the Mead School
District and an Early Childhood Education
and Assistance Program (ECEAP) for
low-income children in Lincoln, Ferry and
Stevens counties.

The Administration for Children and
Families -
The Administration for Children and
Families (ACF) is a federal agency
funding state, local, and tribal
organizations to provide family
assistance (welfare), child support,
child care, Head Start, child
welfare, and other programs relating
to children.
