Five teams from the ESD 101 region were among the top finishers in the
recent state Knowledge Bowl championships. Leading the way was Saint
George’s School, which won the state title in the 2B classification.

May edition of Focus is published;
check it out – and offer your input
The May edition of ESD 101’s Focus newsletter is out.
This will be the final edition of the 2007-08 school year. Copies have
been sent to every public and state-approved K-12 school in the region.
The May issue also may be accessed online here.
As the editors of Focus prepare for the 2008-09 school year, they
request your assistance in taking a short online survey. The survey
seeks your input on a variety of publication issues, including the type
of content you find most interesting, useful and relevant. The survey
takes less than 5 minutes to complete and may be submitted anonymously.
ESD 101 requests “statements of
qualification” from individuals who wish to be considered
for employment in the ESD’s new Educational Research Unit.
Successful candidates will be expected to write educational
research grants (primarily federal) and, if successful,
serve as project directors on funded grants.Candidates are sought to provide educational research in a
