If you are
currently short on high school credits, at risk of quitting school, or have
dropped out and want to make the commitment to a high school education, call
Educational Service District 101 at (509) 456-7660. Which
Educational Program is Right for You?
High School Re-Entry
Students ages 16-18 who are substantially low in credits but want to graduate,
may be interested in the High School Re-Entry Program. In cooperation with the
student's high school, credits may be awarded if they return to high school and
successfully complete pre-arranged requirements. Daily attendance is
mandatory.
WASL remediation is provided for students enrolled in the re-entry program who
may need assistance in meeting the WASL graduation requirements.
Credit
Retrieval
High
school students currently enrolled who need to make up or
maintain credits to receive their high school diploma may be
interested in the NovaNET Credit Retrieval Program. In
collaboration with their high school, participants receive
credit for specific classes, or, for a number of classes that
would be equivalent to a semester, quarter, or trimester.

Online Summer Session
Summer Session runs 6/18-8/10/07.Registration must be completed 5/1/07-7/1/07
and is not complete until payment is received.
Summer NovaNET classes are also being offered to make up credits or free up time
in next year’s schedule.
Dropout Prevention
Intervention
Project (DPIP)
The DPIP, in conjunction with the NET, targets at-risk and dropout,
high-school aged youth, throughout Spokane County, for
participation in workforce development activities and rapid re-entry
into high school. In partnership with the
Spokane Area Workforce
Development Council, all twelve school districts in Spokane County and the Spokane
Area Skills Center, youth are provided dropout prevention and
retrieval services to return them to high school on track to
graduate. Career planning and work readiness training is also
available to participants. Applicants must meet federal WIA income
guidelines to participate in this project.
Qualifications & Cost
You must have a
serious commitment to finishing your high school education and an
ability to stay focused on that goal.
Through an agreement between your
high school and ESD 101, this opportunity is
offered at no cost to you with the exception of the credit retrieval
program, which may charge a fee for service. All course materials
needed for
completion will be provided.All classes will be held Monday through Friday
at 10814 East Broadway in the Spokane Valley.
