Which Educational Program is Right for You?

High School Re-Entry
Students ages 16-18 who are substantially low in credits but want to graduate, may be interested in the High School Re-Entry Program.  In cooperation with the student's high school, credits may be awarded if they return to high school and successfully complete pre-arranged requirements.  Daily attendance is mandatory.

WASL remediation is provided for students enrolled in the re-entry program who may need assistance in meeting the WASL graduation requirements.

Credit Retrieval

High school students currently enrolled who need to make up or maintain credits to receive their high school diploma may be interested in the NovaNET Credit Retrieval Program.  In collaboration with their high school, participants receive credit for specific classes, or, for a number of classes that would be equivalent to a semester, quarter, or trimester.

 NovaNET Online Summer Session
Summer Session runs 6/18-8/10/07.Registration must be completed 5/1/07-7/1/07 and is not complete until payment is received.

Summer NovaNET classes are also being offered to make up credits or free up time in next year’s schedule.

Dropout Prevention Intervention  Project (DPIP)
The DPIP, in conjunction with the NET, targets at-risk and dropout, high-school aged youth, throughout Spokane County, for participation in workforce development activities and rapid re-entry into high school. In partnership with the
Spokane Area Workforce Development Council, all twelve school districts in Spokane County and the Spokane Area Skills Center, youth are provided dropout prevention and retrieval services to return them to high school on track to graduate. Career planning and work readiness training is also available to participants. Applicants must meet federal WIA income guidelines to participate in this project.

Qualifications & Cost
You must have a serious commitment to finishing your high school education and an ability to stay focused on that goal.

Through an agreement between your high school and ESD 101, this opportunity is
offered at no cost to you with the exception of the credit retrieval program, which may charge a fee for service. All course materials
needed for completion will be provided.

All classes will be held Monday through Friday at 10814 East Broadway in the Spokane Valley.
