Website Services and Support Many districts in our region are using Schoolwires' hosted services as the basis for their school's website, as is NEWESD 101. In the past, we have been able to provide support and training at no additional charge; however, that funding source is no longer available and we are having to move to a fee-for-service model for 2010-2011, in order to continue providing web services support. Web Support Services Package This package includes district-wide, unlimited phone support for website technical assistance and, where applicable, online demonstrations to help district web administrators and staff gain skills and knowledge as they develop or update their building or classroom website. The package also includes a free seat in one of the 3- or 6-hour workshops to be help in our Computer Lab at various times during the year. We're also glad to arrange on-site workshops at your location for up to 10 participants per workshop (see our Professional Development Services section for more information).
Not a Schoolwires' subscriber? We may still be able to help! If you use a web platform other than Schoolwires, and need assistance, give us a call. We're glad to discuss your needs for technical assistance and training to see if our Web support staff currently have the background, skills and knowledge to meet your needs. If possible, we'll offer you the same NSC member and non-member fees for support of your web platform. |
