    NEWESD earns $3.9 million federal grant

    NEWESD 101 has been named the recipient of a $3.9 million federal grant to deploy mental health counselors in 19 regional schools.

    The competitive award, made through the U.S. Department of Education’s Project Prevent program, will provide school-based counseling services for students subject to violence, trauma or anxiety. More
