hosting a pair of regional trainings for teachers and administrators on the
implementation of WaKIDS. The trainings, in Spokane and Colville, will cover data analysis
and program implementation.
Clock hours (3.5) will be available and substitute
costs for kindergarten teachers will be reimbursed.More
Students in grades 5-12 are invited to
enter the Holocaust Writing, Art and Film Contest sponsored by the Seattle-based Holocaust Center for Humanity.
The theme of the 2015 contest is Liberation: 70 years later. Entries will be
accepted through April 3, 2015.Details

Fellows Network – an initiative supporting Common Core State Standards in
English Language Arts and math – is off and running.
On November 17, Fellows
from more than a dozen districts in northeastern Washington convened for training at NEWESD
