  • NEWESD, WSU host national Hanford study
    NEH Forty educators from around the world are in Eastern Washington this week for Atomic West: Atomic World, an in-depth examination of the history and legacy of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. 

    The event is sponsored by NEWESD 101 and Washington State University through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

  • State certification now entirely online
    Funding for the local certification offices in Washington's nine ESDs has been eliminated by the state. Starting July 1, OSPI moved to an online certification system based in Olympia.
    With this change, local certification personnel are no longer available in the ESDs to answer questions or process paperwork. All certification matters should be directed to OSPI at:
